CASEY + BEN

Casey and Ben met while they were both attending The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. 

Ben was in a fraternity while Casey was in a sorority, so they crossed paths quite a bit. The two were pretty smitten college kids. So much so that they decided to study abroad in Germany together for a semester. If you try to quiz Casey and Ben on their German, Ben will win every single time. 

Fast-forward to now, and these lovebirds are getting married! The engagement ring was Ben's grandmothers, and it now has a new home on Casey's left ring finger. 

When Casey saw photos I had taken at Dogwood Farms in Belews Creek, NC she told me immediately that it was where she wanted to have their engagement photos taken. This location never disappoints. 

Upon our arrival for their engagement session, it was raining. We could see the rain clouds in the distance moving quickly. We decided to hunker down together in my car and wait it out. Wouldn't you know, that the sky opened up within about 15 minutes and we were in luck! We walked through the field of poppies and larkspur, got our shoes a little muddy, but that happens when you're out in nature.
