For these maternity photos we decided to shoot at Lake Brandt Marina in Greensboro, North Carolina. Lake Brandt is a beautiful setting for maternity photos with a vase coastline and various natural walking areas that are ideal for stunning maternity photos.
Have your tissues ready for this story. Last year one of my dear friends gave birth to a premature baby boy. He was in the NICU for 22 days and had a challenging start to his life. While baby Landon was in the NICU he had a team of AMAZING medical professionals. The beautiful woman in these photos was one of Landon’s nurses. Lindsey was one of the nurses who I heard raving accolades about from my dear friend. Landon came out of the NICU and went home to be with his family after 22 days and Lindsey helped make that possible. If it weren’t for her, Landon may have had a different outcome.
So, as I’m literally wiping away tears as I write this, needless to say, when Lindsey reached out to me for her maternity photos I immediately said “YES!”. I couldn’t WAIT to meet her and capture these photos.
And, it doesn’t stop there, I’ll be taking photos of Lindsey and her family over the course of the next year once they welcome their baby girl into the world soon! Lindsey is one of my maternity + year one clients which means we will capture newborn photos once their baby girl Emery arrives, then Emery at six months, and twelve months of age. This package really allows you to capture your little one at different milestones during their first year.
Lindsey chose to wear this beautiful maternity dress from Pinkblush Maternity. The sheer lace overlay was so dreamy and really made her stand out in these maternity photos. This Lace Mesh Overlay Maternity Maxi Dress comes in over 25 colors.
